Donald “Donnie” Clarence Nicholson

Suddenly at home in Lower Newtown, the passing of Donald "Donnie"Clarence Nicholson age 72, loving husband of 47 years to Debbie (MacLean) Nicholson, occurred on Friday, June 14, 2019. Born February 8, 1947, he was the son of the late John and Lillian (MacKenzie) Nicholson. Donald is the loving father of Tracy (Blaine) Morrison, Amazing Grampa to Jordan Morrison, Jonathan Morrison and Noah Morrison; mother-in-law Marie MacLean; sisters and brothers, Linda (Steve) Madden, Winston (Helen) Nicholson, Donald (Cathy) MacPherson, Irene (Shane) McKenna, brother-in-law Blair MacLean and sister-in-law Darlene (Paul) Matheson; many nieces, nephews and his furry friend Macy. Predeceased by grandson Cole Morrison; brothers James, John, and Ronnie; sisters Ann and Hazel. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, June 18, at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Belfast, at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place in the Belfast Cemetery.
