Cindy Clara Hughes

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, November 16, 2018, of Cindy Clara Hughes (LeClair), beloved wife of Art Hughes, and daughter of the late Ferdie and Hazel LeClair (Gallant), of Harrington, aged 62. She was the loving step-mother of Evan Black and Louise Bartlett. Cindy is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Gerarda (Bart) Peddie, Wayne (Roberta), Bruce (Winnie), Bobby (Shirley), Jeff (Myrna), Larry (Marta) and Nancy Ford (Darcy); and brothers and sisters-in-law, Virginia (Charles), Ivan (Marilyn), Joan (Bruce), Donald (Carolyn) and Donna (Roger). Besides her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, Hillson and Vernita Hughes (Mutch); and brother-in-law, John Hughes. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation Monday, November 19, 2018, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Winsloe South Cemetery.
