ARSENAULT, Cédric The death occurred peacefully with his loving wife and son by his side at the Community Hospital O’Leary on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 of Cédric Augustin Arsenault of Mont Carmel, age 79 years. He was the son of the late Emmanuel and the late Louise (née Richard) Arsenault of Mont Carmel. Left to cherish fond memories is his wife Zita, his son Yves (Melissa), granddaughter Emily and the dog Lexi. He is also survived by his sisters Cécile (Elmer) Arsenault of Mont Carmel, and Doreen (Emile - Jr) Gallant of Summerside. His sister-in-law Betty McDonald (Albert - deceased) of Summerside, brothers-in-law Urvin (Zita) Arsenault of Hamilton, Ontario, Melvin (Paulette) Arsenault of Mont Carmel. Cédric will be sadly missed by his Goddaughters Donna Ash, Kim Gallant, and Ginette Arsenault, as well by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Louise Arsenault, his parents-in-law Edmond and Anita Arsenault and his brother Albert Arsenault. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home in Urbainville. Visiting hours and funeral service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations in Cédric’s memory made to the PEI Cancer Society or the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church would be greatly appreciated. On behalf of Cédric, the family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors at the Community Hospital O’Leary and the Prince County Hospital. Cédric appreciated the care and support they gave him during his illness. A special thank you to neighbors Robert and Marguerite Gallant, and the Morency family for their support and help in times of needs.
