ROACH, Catherine Anne "Caye" (nee Flanagan) Peacefully with her daughter by her side at the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, October 15, 2020 of Catherine Anne "Caye" Roach (nee Flanagan) of Charlottetown, age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Leo Roach and dear mother of Carol Roach. Caye is also lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Shirley Flanagan, Muriel Martin (Mel dec.), brother-in-law Sanford Roach (Louise) and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by her parents Reginald and Sarah (McLeod) Flanagan, brothers Reginald (Isabelle), Ted (Doris), Jack (Lorraine), Jim (Shirley), George (Ruth), Dennis ,sisters Patricia Murphy (James), Pauline McLellan (John), Grace Bristol (Archie), Dorothy Ward (George), Gail McCormack (Leonard), infant sisters Barbara, Gertrude and Margaret and sister-in-law Jean Roach. The family would like to say a special thank-you to the nurses and staff of Blue Heron, Lady Slipper, Blue Jay Way Units and the Recreation Dept. of the Prince Edward Home for the exceptional care provided to Catherine. Your kindness will always be remembered. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Due to current restrictions, a family visitation and funeral mass will be held at St. Dunstan’s Basilica with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
