Catherine Arsenault

ARSENAULT, Catherine The death occurred peacefully at Prince Country Hospital, Saturday August 1st, 2020 of Catherine Arsenault (née Gallant), of Le Chez Nous, Wellington, at the age of 90. Born in Urbainville, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Aurelie Gallant. Left to cherish her memory are her children Peter (Gloria), Carol (Gérard), Raymond (Lucie), Stella (Peter), Dennis, Norma (Ron), Yvette (Bill), Richard, Michel (Cathy), and daughter in-law Dianne. Catherine is survived by sister Eva and her sister in-law Arthemise. She leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Peter and her son Elmer. She was also predeceased by sisters Dora, Anna, Corinne and brother Alfred. Special thanks to the staff of the Prince County Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Morash for being a wonderful family doctor throughout these years and always taking the time to listen to Catherine and providing compassionate care. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family viewing will be held at Évangéline Funeral Home in Urbainville followed by a funeral mass and interment at the Saint-Phillipe et Saint-Jacques Church and Cemetery in Egmont-Bay on Monday, August 10th.
