Carol Jean Connick

The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Friday, June 29, 2018, beloved wife of Keith MacKinnon, of Riverdale, aged 74. Carol was the loving mother of Roger and Denise Connick (Bill Murray); grandmother of 14; and great-grandmother of 7. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Ronnie, George (Gail), Rosemary MacBeth (Marvin), Eric (Donna), Heather Jay, Susan Raynor (Jim), Roger (Michelle), William (Carol Anne), Nancy Jay and Myrtle MacPhee (Alan); sister-in-law, Elayne; and 45 nieces and nephews. Carol is predeceased by her parents, John and Helen (Wigmore) McLaine; and her brothers, David and Walter; and her infant brother and sister, Lawrence and Laura. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral will be held at Burnside Presbyterian Church, Clyde River, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
