Boyd Allen

With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Boyd Allen, of Murray River, age 84, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital. Born in Montague, he was the son of the late Alva and Maude (Peardon) Allen. Besides his loving wife Carole (Horton) Allen, Boyd is survived by his five children; Cheryl (Harm) Wolthuis, Lana (James) Bell, Charles Allen, Alva (Shirley) Allen and Ralph (Robin) Allen; nine grandchildren; Dianne (Troy) Bailey, Melissa (Kenny) Leeco, James (Rachel) Irving, Jaime Bell (JP Cote), Amanda (Jeremy) Miller, Craig (Kristen) Bell. Corinne (Shawn) Morris, Natalie (Adam) White, Adeana (Jeremie) Leger; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Veda Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Boyd was predeceased by a brother Leeming Allen, sister Vaughn McKeeman, grandson Brent Allen and son-in-law Alan Irving. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, October 23rd, from 1:30 to 3:15. Funeral Service to take place following the visitations in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Murray River Cemetery.
