MATTHEWS, Betty Marie 1939-2020 The death occurred at Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley on Sunday, November 29, 2020 of Betty Marie Matthews, beloved wife of Elroy Matthews formerly of Arlington aged 81. Betty was born in Mount Pleasant on September 24, 1939, daughter of the late Winnie Steele. Dear mother to Jason (Lisa), Arlington. Loving grammy to Breanna, Madison and Hunter. Sister to Carol (Silbert) Rayner, Roxbury, sister in law to Allan (Ferne) Matthews and Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her mother and sister Arlene in infancy. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private visitation and funeral service will be on Wednesday. Interment to follow in the Lot 14 United Church Cemetery.
