Benny Bos

BOS, Bernardus Hendriekus (Benny) Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 of Bernardus Hendriekus (Benny) Bos aged 86 years of Stratford and formerly of Fort Augustus. Predeceased by his dear wife Brenda (Gillis). Dearly loved father of Nancy Brandon (Brad). Very special Opa to David (Emily), Mark, Emily (Danny) and Rebecca. He was a loving brother of Elizabeth Halman, Regina Schevers, Gerry Bos, Catherine Halman and Greta Kays. Brother-in-law of Ria Bos, Anne Bos, Shirley Kennedy, Judy Chipman and Arlene Gillis. Benny will be warmly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours as well as many school bus passengers. He was predeceased by parents - Wiebertus and Wietsche (Kranendonk) Bos; brothers - Bastiaan (Bas), Johannes (John) and Robert; brothers-in-law - Nicholas Halman, Guy Schevers, Rudolph Halman and Peter Kays, Alan Gillis and David Gillis; sisters-in-law - Mary Bos and Joan Newell. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. There will be no visitation or funeral mass by personal request. Interment later in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fort Augustus.
