Baird Judson of Alexandra passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, October 13, 2018, in his 86th year. He is the son of the late H. Gay Judson and Ethel H. (Baird) Judson. Baird was a professor in the Engineering department at the University of Prince Edward Island for many years. He is survived by his two sisters Joan Gosnell (the late Don) and Pat Smith (Don). He also leaves to mourn his special nephews and nieces Duncan, Chuck, Steve, Sandra, Liz, Allyson, Graeme and 9 grand nephews and nieces Eric, Heather, Parker, Edmund, Margaret, Simon, Martin, Oliver, Sarah and many friends and relatives. Besides his parents and brother-in-law, he was predeceased by his brother Charles and niece Gwen. All are welcome to a celebration of Baird’s life to be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the University of Prince Edward Island Chapel. Parking available in General Parking Lot B (off Belvedere Ave.) As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the Department of Engineering at UPEI. Interment has taken place in the family plot at St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery, Vernon Bridge. Arrangements entrusted to MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel.
