SCALES, Austin Alexander January 6, 1960 – March 27, 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Alexander Scales on March 27, 2020, age 60 years. Beloved husband of Karen (Nicholson), stepfather of Jason Clark (Tasha Kean), Jenna Clark (Mark Corrigan) and devoted grandfather (Numpy) to Isla. Survived by his sisters Linda and Heather, brother Philip, niece Alyssa, and mother Alberta Schmitz. Also survived by mother-in-law Paula Nicholson, brothers-in-law Jeff and Scott (Pam Toombs), as well as numerous Scales and MacAusland uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Henry Scales, father-in-law David Nicholson, and infant brother Richard. Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the COVID 19 virus restrictions. Memorial donations may be made online to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
