CURTIS, Alice Janette Peacefully, surrounded by love and family, at Garden Home Wednesday, November 24, 2020 of Alice Janette Curtis (Stewart), Charlottetown, age 97 years. Alice was born in Hampshire on April 12, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Wesley Brant and Ada (Ferrish) Stewart. Due to being killed in a tragic accident, in a heavy snow train track cutting, months before she was born, Alice never got to meet her father. Alice was cherished Mom to Wesley Curtis (Ruth) and Orville Curtis (Laura). Beloved grandmother of Shirlee Page (Robert), Sheila Curtis, Sharon Curtis and Colleen MacPhee. Alice is also survived by many cousins, extended family, special friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her grandson Myron Curtis. Alice was a dear sister of the late Annie, Roy and Priscilla Stevenson. Alice was celebrated for her life of caring for others, sharing with others and for her patient approach to life. She enjoyed each day left her door open for anyone to enter. Everyone was always welcomed. To all those who held Alice in their love, thoughts and prayers these past years and for those who cared for Alice, especially her granddaughter Sharon, a heart-felt thank you from her family who truly loved her. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a private family (invitation only) service will be held in the funeral home chapel. A private interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Milton. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church or Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
