MACDONALD, Albert Albert Charles MacDonald passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge in Belfast. Born on February 10, 1925, in South Pinette to the late Albert and Flora (Laura Matheson), Albert lived to the age of 95. Albert will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Helen, of 66 years; his four children, Robert (Janice), Albert, Murray, and Karen (David) Virr; treasured grandchildren Erin (Ryan Weeks) MacDonald, Joel (Kelsey) MacDonald, Rory MacDonald, Connor (Alyssa) MacDonald, Graham MacDonald, Nicolle MacDonald, Jake MacDonald, Michaela Virr, Charissa Virr, and Josiah Virr; cherished great grandchildren Hadley MacDonald and Gillian MacDonald. Albert is survived by his sisters, Lucille MacLean and Edythe Gillis; sister-in-law, Dottie MacDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Cheryl; sisters and brothers, Laureta Larrabee (Austin), Ruby MacWilliams (Johnny), Malcolm (Isabel) MacDonald, Annalene Strachan (John), Marion MacKenzie (Robert), Mary McAllister (Alec), Billy MacDonald, Thelma MacTavish (Sinclair); brothers-in-law Edison MacLean and Charles Gillis. Private visiting was held. Funeral Service to take place in the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2:00 Pm.
