DOUCETTE, Aeneas Angus The death occurred peacefully with his loving family by his side, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 of Aeneas Doucette of Charlottetown, aged 74. Aeneas was the loving and devoted husband of Edna (nee Gallant); and loving and proud father of Darren (Kelly), Kent (Tawnya), Aaron (Ashley) and Kara Bevins (Chris). Aeneas was known as the proud Grampy of Ethan and Alexis; Ava; Ella, Greyson and Charlie; and Sophia. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Sterling (Betty), David (Bernice), Marie (Ralph MacCallum), Rita Edmonds (Julian); Lorne (Eleanor deceased); Barry (Carol Ann deceased); Garry (Pam) and Terry (Debbie). He also leaves to mourn many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Aeneas was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Edna (Gallant) Doucette; parents-in-law, Gelas and Margaret Gallant; and sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Carol Ann. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. No visitation by personal request. Due to health regulations there will be a private funeral held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 10:30 am. The funeral will be live streamed on the Central Queen’s Funeral Home Facebook page. Interment in the church cemetery.
