A. Isabel “D.D.” Nicholson

Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of A. Isabel “D.D.” Nicholson (nee Buell) age 91 of Brudenell devoted wife of the late Mack Nicholson, occurred on Monday, September 10, 2018 with family by her side. Born in Abney, July 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Rhoda (Kennedy) Buell. D.D. is survived by her loving children Eric (Lillian), Elvert, Clifford, Kathryn “Kate” and Amanda (Scott); five cherished grandchildren Jason (Chrissy), Brandy, Christopher, Darcy (Sarah), and Jonathan (Jill); two step grandchildren Haley and Ryan; adored great granddaughter Hannah and great grandsons Adam, Parker, Grayson and Levi; sisters and brothers Nellie MacLellan, Fenton Buell, Heath (Valerie) Buell and Valerie (William) Gordon. Predeceased by a son John (Jackie); sisters Ruby MacEachern, Marjorie Gallant, Bertha Robbins, Eva Brehaut, Elsie MacKay, Ferne MacDonald and brother Roy Buell. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Sunday, September 16, at 4 p.m., from the Funeral Home Chapel.
