Paul Harrison has written books on notorious serial killers Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Charles Manson and John Wayne Gacy.

His tomes were punctuated with exclusive interviews with the monsters, plus all the lurid details.

Now it appears the 59-year-old Brit has been busted for making the interviews up.

According to The Guardian , the former cop has also burnished his own CV, claiming he helps the FBI’s famed Behavioral Science Unit with cases.

Now, criminals and cops alike are slamming the accused charlatan.

The U.K. Sun says seven former FBI agents denied even knowing who Harrison was.

“Any claim that he conducted interviews of those serial killers is completely false,” one, Mark Safarik, told the newspaper.

Not to be outdone, notorious British serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, AKA The Yorkshire Ripper, is blasting Harrison, too.

Sutcliffe murdered 13 women and recently told the Sun he had never met Harrison.

“Paul Harrison is an absolute charlatan, a conman,” Sutcliffe said. “He never corresponded with me, nor did he ever visit me.

“He needs to be exposed for the downright liar he is! What a wazzock.”

Harrison has written 33 true crime books and his publisher announced they’re pulling his latest crime porn book because of concerns about the revelations.

And the writer appeared to confess on social media, claiming all he wanted to do was help victims of crime.

“Now, it seems I’ve let everyone down, I’m sorry for that,” he wrote.
