(Reuters) - A low pressure system east of the upper Florida Keys has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Friday.
"A tropical depression is likely to form this weekend or early next week while the low moves from near the coast of east-central Florida to offshore of the southeastern United States coast," the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
