WinterLove event in Charlottetown cancelled

Winter activities have been cancelled this afternoon due to cold weather.

The Winter Family Fun event scheduled to take place in Victoria Park today is cancelled because of the frigid temperatures.

The City of Charlottetown and WinterLove P.E.I. organized the free event.

An announcement will be made if the event is rescheduled in the coming weeks.
The Winter Family Fun Event was part of the Winter Active campaign and WinterLove P.E.I. 2019.

Snowshoeing scheduled this afternoon in Victoria Park, has also been cancelled, along with the WinterLove P.E.I. Disco Skate.

Anyone still looking for a fun activity today is encouraged to attend one of the indoor skates happening today (Sunday, February 10) at Simmons Sports Centre from 1:50 to 2:50 p.m. or the Cody Banks Arena from 3 to 4 p.m.
