It should be sunny for much of Thursday but expect some winds to pick up as the day goes on.
A high of 10 and UV index of 6 or high is anticipated but winds will be hitting the Island north 20 km/h gusting to 40 and finally becoming light in the afternoon.
Clouds will make their main appearance this evening, bringing with them some showers later, about 2 mm. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h and gusting near midnight to 40 and a low of 5.
Friday will see 2 to 4 mm of rain and increased winds, southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 20 in the afternoon. Expect a high of around 17 and UV index of 3 or moderate but the evening brings more rain and a low of 12.
The Confederation Bridge is currently open to all traffic, with no warnings.
On P.E.I. today, early morning temperatures ranged from a high of 5.1 in East Point to a low of 0.3 in Maple Plains and Summerside.
