CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - A former P.E.I. music teacher who was found guilty of two counts of sexual exploitation and one count of sexual interference will be back in court next month after his sentencing had to be re-scheduled because of bad weather.
Roger James Jabbour was supposed to appear before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown Tuesday for sentencing on the charges related to his time as the band teacher at Colonel Gray High School in Charlottetown.
His lawyer arrived in P.E.I. from Halifax on Monday, but the courthouse was shut down for the day Tuesday because of the weather.
Jabbour will appear in court in January for sentencing.
Last month, Chief Judge Nancy Orr found Jabbour not guilty of two other alleged sex offences involving a fourth former student.
The Crown has appealed that verdict.
