The Victoria Park multi-sport lane will be open for the season beginning at noon on Tuesday, May 1.

Traffic will be excluded until October 31.

Vehicle traffic will be permitted to travel one-way through the Park on outside lane, closest to the water.

The inside lane will be for wheeling traffic, including: bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, inline skates and other self-propelled wheeling devices.

The city reminds users that wearing a helmet is mandatory of using the lane.

As usual walkers and runners, including anyone pushing a stroller or walking a pet, are not permitted on the cycling lane.
