SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Allison James Arsenault, 34, of Tignish has pleaded guilty one count of possession of mackerel measuring less than 26.3 cm, one count of making a false statement to a Fisheries Officer, failing to hail a dockside monitoring company prior to returning to port and one count of using a vessel to transport fresh fish without a vessel registration card.

Arsenault was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,400.
