Summerside man gets jail time for assault

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Chad James Lloyd Desroches, 35, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of assault. 

Desroches was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail, though he received permission to do so intermittently. He must also remain on probation for 18 months.

The charge is from May 25 in Summerside.
