SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Troy Dillon Gaudet, 46, of Summerside has pleaded guilty several charges against him.

The charges included possession of cannabis, failing to appear in court as required and having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit while also having control of a motor vehicle.

The failing to appear in court and impaired driving charges are from July 26 and May 19, in Summerside. The possession of cannabis charge is also from May 19, which was prior to cannabis becoming legal in Canada on Oct. 17.

Gaudet was ordered to serve 12 days in jail fined $1,100, must pay a victim surcharge of $430 and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
