Subdivision tops list of priorities for Alberton council

ALBERTON – Alberton’s Emma Drive subdivision is going back to the top of the priority list for projects to which town council wants to direct federal gas tax funds.

Mayor Michael Murphy said the subdivision was at the top of the list but lagoon work leapfrogged over it.

With lagoon work nearing completion, the mayor recommended council place priority back on the subdivision.

He said the first phase of the town-owned subdivision only has one lot remaining.

More lots need to be developed, he said.
