SUMMERSIDE — A 2015 Subaru Outback that was stolen from a Harvard Street residence Friday morning has been recovered.
The vehicle was located by the Kensington Police and East Prince RCMP in a field near Sunset Drive in Kensington on Nov. 12 at approximately 12:20 pm.
The call about the stolen vehicle came to Summerside Police Services at roughly 8:30 a.m.
The car was believed to have been stolen between 8 and 8:30am.
Shortly after the vehicle was reported stolen, a member of the RCMP observed the vehicle in the Read’s Corner area. However, the vehicle fled west bound on Water Street and failed to stop for police.
The vehicle was later located travelling at a high rate of speed in the Central Street north area and heading toward Kensington.
