SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 24-year-old Tignish man has pleaded guilty to one count under the Fisheries Act of fishing for lobster from a boat without proper trap tags.

Benjamin Kenneth Gaudet was fined $2,500 and must forfeit five lobster traps.

The charge is from June 18 in North Cape.
