Summerside woman gets suspended sentence, probation

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 33-year-old Summerside woman has pleaded guilty to one count of failing to appear in court and one count of breaching a probation order by contacting someone who she had been ordered to not contact. 

Melissa Elizabeth MacDonald was given a suspended sentence and must serve 12 months of probation.

The charges are from Sept. 12 and Dec. 12, 2019, in Summerside.
