SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — At about 11:30 p.m. Friday evening, the Summerside Police Services received a call reporting that a man wanted by the National Parole Board for a parole violation was present at a residence on Ottawa Street.
Police attended and, during a search of the residence, located Lawrence Donald Cameron, the subject of the parole warrant.
Cameron was taken into custody and during the arrest a significant quantity of cash and drugs, including suspected hydromorphone, crystal methamphetamine and cocaine, were seized.
Cameron was returned to custody and the investigation is continuing into the drugs.
Further charges are anticipated at this time.
