Summerside man pleads guilty to theft charges

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 27-year-old Summerside man has pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing merchandise, from two different retailers, valued at less than $5,000.

Jorden Trent Peterson was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail, 18 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

The charges are from Sept. 11, Oct. 18 and 26, 2019, in Summerside and Charlottetown.
