SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Robert Bruce Matthew, 64, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit while operating a motor vehicle.

Matthew was sentenced to serve 14 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently. He must remain on probation until his time is served. He is also prohibited from driving for 12 months and must pay a fine of $2,000 and a victim surcharge of $600.

The charge is from July 29 in Summerside.
