SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The Summerside Walk in Silence, organized by P.E.I. Family Violence Prevention Services, begins at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 263 Heather Moyse Dr. and will finish at Eptek Centre.
Summerside city council, Summerside Police Service and P.E.I. Family Violence Prevention Services have declared Feb. 9 to 15 as Family Violence Prevention Week.
Tuesday’s the Walk in Silence will raise awareness and show support for victims of family violence. Following the walk, there will be a reception at the Eptek Centre - author Susan Rodgers will speak, and Nikkie Gallant will perform a song from her new album.
