Summerside Fire Department responds to single-vehicle collision

Captain Ron Enman of the Summerside Fire Service has been named Director of Fire Services (fire chief) for the city's department. Enman replaces Chief Jim Peters who retired early this summer. Enman has more than 25 years experience on the job.

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The Summerside Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle motor collision in St. Eleanors early Monday morning.

Fire chief Ron Enman said the call came in around 4:20 a.m., and 18 firefighters responded with the rescue truck and pumper. 

Enman referred all other questions to the RCMP. 

Messages left at the East Prince detachment were not returned as of deadline.
