RCMP investigating structure fire in Central Bedeque, P.E.I.

CENTRAL BEDEQUE, P.E.I. — On Monday, Jan. 18, at about 2:15 a.m., the East Prince RCMP and the Kinkora Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Bedeque Rink Road, Central Bedeque.

The RCMP members arrived on scene to find the outbuilding of a residence fully engulfed in flames.

There were no injuries, and no one was in the building at the time of the fire. All occupants of the residence evacuated to a safe distance.

The Kinkora Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the RCMP.
