Police looking for information about burned truck found in Travellers Rest

TRAVELLERS REST, P.E.I. — RCMP in East Prince are investigating the report of a utility truck that was found on fire on Saturday, Sept. 5, between 6:50 and 7:10 a.m. on the Steel Road in Travellers Rest.

Witnesses also reported seeing a small, grey Saturn car travelling with the truck before it was burned.

Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact East Prince RCMP at 902-436-9300, their closest local police office or P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
