A 36-year-old P.E.I. woman with a history of theft was sentenced to 30 days in jail for stealing yet again.

Vanessa Katherine Paquet of Cambridge pleaded guilty to theft under $5,000 for stealing between $200 and $300 of items, including toys, houseware products and groceries, from Atlantic Superstore in Montague on April 16. 

She also pleaded guilty to breach of probation, which has earned her an additional 15 days in jail.

She will be on probation for 18 months upon her release and must perform 40 hours of community service.

Paquet was also ordered to write a letter of apology to the manager of the Atlantic Superstore in Montague and she is barred from the business for the duration of her probation.
