O'LEARY, P.E.I. — The RCMP is looking for help investigating a mid-April house fire in O’Leary.

On Saturday, April 18, West Prince RCMP and O'Leary Fire Department responded to a house fire at 421 Main St., O'Leary.

When police arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames and the O'Leary firefighters were working to extinguish the fire.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the April blaze, it had been damaged in an accidental fire earlier in the winter, said O'Leary fire Chief Ron Phillips.

"There was no source of ignition other than human intervention," said Phillips of the April fire.

The RCMP is investigating the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information about this fire that might assist RCMP in this investigation can contact Const. Dave MacCarville at Prince District RCMP or P.E.I. Crime Stoppers.
