SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — City officials are increasing the time cars are allowed to park in the downtown to three hours for the Christmas holiday season.
Parking in the downtown is usually restricted to two hours stints between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. That will be increased to three hours between Nov. 17 and Dec. 31, 2020.
The areas included in the extension include Water Street from Central Street to Granville Street, Summer Street and Spring Street to First Street and the municipal parking Lot D (behind the Summerside Police Station.)
