A P.E.I. Humane Society fundraiser event is being held on Sunday, June 30, at Baba’s Lounge in Charlottetown.

Halifax disk jockey, Scout aka Jody Wagstaff, along with Island disk jockey, Buzzcat aka Landon Harris, will be providing music for the night.

Scout and Buzzcat bring with them a long list of musical experience ranging from clubs to festivals and everything in between. Donations are encouraged as there is no entry charge to the event. All of proceeds from this event will be donated to the P.E.I. Humane Society. The music starts at 10 p.m.

Scout and Buzzcat are two of the artists who have been selected to play music at this year’s Future Forest Music and Arts Festival at the end of July. Future Forest is a weekend filled with fairytale-like surroundings, whimsical art displays and a line-up of artists from around the world that aim to take you on an unforgettable journey. Future Forest takes place for its seventh consecutive year on July 26-29 and is held outside of Fredericton, N.B.
