CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Island will welcome the first large convention of 2019 with Holstein Canada’s National Holstein Convention.
About 900 members are registered for this annual convention, and Meetings and Conventions P.E.I. is ready to greet them with its “Big Fish in a Small Pond” program.
From registration obn Wednesday to the Master Breeder Gala on April 27, the convention organizing committee has developed a program to showcase the Island’s beauty, food, entertainment and, of course, its Holstein breeders and cow families.
Besides the AGM, highlights include a Holstein show and sale, farm tours and even an “illegal” prohibition ball.
The Young Leaders Convention Program gives industry leaders aged 19 to 30 the opportunity to connect with other youth from across the country and engage in activities revolving around the Holstein breed.
