Kensington mayor, CAO meet with municipality

Kensington Mayor Rowan Caseley said the town is working to stage its annual Christmas parade in December. He acknowledged, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s parade will be smaller and have a different look.

KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — Kensington Mayor Rowan Caseley and chief administrative officer Geoff Baker recently met with representatives of the Rural Municipality of Malpeque to discuss items of mutual interest. 

The Malpeque council has been using the Kensington council chambers for its meetings during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and has requested for that to continue. 

Council has given its approval and is looking at setting a user fee for this use.
