KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — The FitPlex gym at Credit Union Centre in Kensington is back open for business after the coronavirus (COVID-19 strain) shutdown.
Town staff took the time to paint and rearrange the facility.
Coun. Corinne Pickering said she was in for a sneak peek before the gym was open to the public.
“It looked really good," she said.
"They did a really good job.”
Since the June 1 reopening, 150 people had been to the gym.
“Everybody seems to be quite pleased with what’s been done,” said Kensington Mayor Rowan Caseley.
