Variance granted
Summerside city council approved a variance during its Sept. 30 meeting for a property at 54 Curran Dr. to allow for the construction of a detached garage.
Rezoning approved
The City of Summerside has approved a rezoning request for 197 Brennan Ave. that will allow the owners to split a three-bedroom apartment into a two bedroom and single bedroom.
Turning lanes coming to uptown intersection
The City of Summerside has painted broken lines to indicate turning lanes at the intersection of Granville Street and Walker Avenue. The lines are intended to clearly define proper turning lanes and generally help speed up congestion in the area.
