KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — Repairs to the Edward Van Koughnet (EVK) Memorial Pool have been completed.
The total cost of the repair was $18,581.89.
The province has agreed to provide $8,000 towards the project through the Rural Growth Initiative Fund.
The EVK Memorial Pool was opened July 11, 1985.
The pool was built with a generous gift on $50,000 from Hulda Smith who requested the facility be built to honour her late brother.
