BELFAST, P.E.I. — Belfast Players bringing ‘Welcome to the Hotel California’ to the stage

The Belfast Players will be presenting a three-act comedy, “Welcome to the Hotel California”, written by David Halliday, on Saturday, April 27, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the Belfast Rec Centre.

The play is the story of new potential owners for The Hotel California and the staff wondering who they will be.

Could it be the rich couple just checking in?

Maybe it’s the eccentric women who are longtime residents.

Or maybe it’s the touring VIP singer.

However, things get complicated when the singer’s stalker appears, and the two lazy, young maids start causing trouble.

All kinds of hilarious events occur before the new owners are actually revealed.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children and are available at Copper’s Store and at the door.

For more information, call Reta Ross at 902-659-2711. Proceeds go to the Belfast Rec Centre.
