Assault charge results in probation for Summerside woman

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A Summerside woman appeared in provincial court recently on an assault charge.

Veronica Mary Alice Fay, 30, pleaded guilty to a June 19 assault.

She also pleaded guilty to a failure to comply with an undertaking and a failure to attend court. 

Fay was sentenced to 12 months of probation, fined a total of $500 and must pay $250 in victim surcharges.
