P.E.I. man sentenced for failing breath test

THREE RIVERS, P.E.I. - Eugene Philip MacDonald was sentenced to 10 days in jail for failing a breath test after police responded to a call of a possible impaired driver on Nov. 12 in Brudenell.

MacDonald, who pleaded guilty Thursday to the charge, was fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $450 in a victims of crime surcharge.

He is also prohibited from driving for one year.
