Two incumbent councillors re-elected

TYNE VALLEY, P.E.I. - Tyne Valley residents have elected Jeff Noye as their new mayor. Noye, who has helped re-brand the Tyne Valley Oyster Festival and introduce the Rock the Boat Music Fest to the Island’s entertainment scene, outpolled incumbent mayor Kevin Kadey for the position in Monday’s voting. Vote totals for mayor and councillors were not immediately available.

Two incumbent councillors, Shelly Campbell and Donald Milligan, were re-elected. They will be joined around the council table by Trent MacDougall, Adam MacLennan, Matthew McGuire and Erica Wagner.

Incumbent councillor Lorraine Robinson did not win re-election. Incumbent Frank Hansen did not re-offer.
