MONTAGUE — The Town of Montague’s next committee of council meeting will now be held on Monday.

While committee of council meetings are usually held on the fourth Monday of every month, council voted this week to re-schedule December’s meeting to avoid it falling on Christmas.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at town hall.

Council also voted to close the town office from Dec. 27 to Dec. 29 this year to allow staff to visit family off-Island.
