A 26-year-old man was arrested and faces several driving-related charges following an RCMP check-stop in Tignish Nov. 10.

As a result of the stop, the man was arrested for driving while disqualified.

Further investigation led to additional charges of impaired operation and impaired operation over the legal limit being recommended.

He is scheduled to appear in court in January.
